Maidens

July 10, 2009

This past Monday I got around to maidening two of my newer planes. The 50cc Stinger, and the elcetrified Big Stik 40. The Big Stik took the gear that was going to go in my Cub. The Cub was comming out a little too heavy, and I’d rather fly than build in the summer. So it’s going to wait untill winter.

Power 46 motor 11×5.5 prop, 60A Eflite Pro ESC, 5s 5000mah True R/C lipos, not sure on the mount got it with the motor used.

I like it. Lots of power and a good amount of flight time. I’m going to put it in a Piper Cherokee airframe next. I don’t like the big stik that much…

Thanks for the info! I’m building a 40 size big stick right now and am looking at just going electric from the start. What about the stick don’t you like, the looks or the handling?

I really wasn’t all for the looks. It flew good, but It was really sensitive pitch wise. That might have been CG, but it flew good otherwise.
